3. Services we provide
We can provide information about finance products from an accredited lender panel and assist you to apply for a loan or lease that is suitable for your circumstances. Approval is always subject to the lender's eligibility, assessment, terms and credit criteria. We do not provide legal, tax, property valuation or financial planning advice.
4. Best interests duty
When providing mortgage credit assistance, we must act in the consumer's best interests. If there is a conflict between the consumer's interests and our interests or those of certain related parties, we must give priority to the consumer's interests. We must not accept conflicted remuneration.
5. Responsible lending
Before providing credit assistance, we make reasonable enquiries about your requirements and objectives and your financial situation, and take reasonable steps to verify relevant financial information. We assess whether a proposed credit contract or increase is unsuitable for you as required by law. You may request a free copy of the written assessment within the applicable statutory period.
6. Lender panel and relationships
We are accredited with and aggregate through Yellow Brick Road Aggregation Pty Ltd, which provides access to a panel of lenders and finance providers.
