Effective 3 September 2026. This policy explains how Rapid Key Finance manages personal information, including information submitted through this website.

2. Our privacy commitment

We respect your privacy and aim to manage personal information openly and securely in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and other applicable laws. This policy explains the kinds of information we may collect, why we collect it, how it may be used and disclosed, and how you can seek access, correction or make a privacy complaint.

3. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, date of birth, contact details, address, identity information, employment and income details, expenses, assets and liabilities, dependants, financial objectives, bank or transaction information, credit-related information and information needed to understand your finance requirements.

We will only collect sensitive information where it is reasonably necessary and you consent, or where collection is otherwise permitted by law. The public website enquiry form asks only for contact details, your finance goal and a brief message. Please do not submit passwords, bank account numbers, identity documents or sensitive financial records through that form.

4. How we collect information

We usually collect information directly from you through the website, phone, email, meetings, application forms and documents you provide. Where permitted and reasonably necessary, information may also be collected from your authorised representatives, referees, employers, accountants or lawyers, prospective lenders and lessors, credit reporting bodies, identity verification providers, government registers and other service providers involved in your application.

5. Why we collect, use and hold information

We may use information to respond to enquiries, understand your requirements and objectives, provide credit assistance, verify identity, assess and progress finance applications, communicate with lenders and service providers, manage our relationship and records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, prevent or investigate fraud, handle complaints and improve our services.

We will only use information for direct marketing where permitted. You may opt out at any time by contacting us or using an unsubscribe facility in an electronic message.

6. Who information may be shared with

Where necessary for the purposes above, information may be disclosed to Yellow Brick Road Aggregation Pty Ltd, prospective lenders and lessors, mortgage or title insurers, valuers, credit reporting bodies, identity verification services, government or regulatory bodies, professional advisers, referrers, and technology, document, communication and storage providers.

7. Website and technology providers

Website enquiries are presently processed using Vercel for website hosting and Supabase for secure database services. Those providers may process or store information using infrastructure outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to select appropriate service providers and protect the information we control.

8. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for our services, records and legal obligations, then securely delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

9. Access and correction

You may ask for access to personal information we hold about you or request that it be corrected. Contact the privacy contact listed above. We may need to verify your identity and, where the law permits us to refuse a request, we will explain the reason.

10. Privacy concerns and complaints

Please contact us first if you have a privacy concern. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and provide a fair response within the applicable timeframe. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.

11. Changes and alternative formats

We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The current version will be available free of charge on our website. You may ask us to provide it in another reasonably available format.
